Having been raised in a construction family, Jim has worked in nearly all facets of construction. A friend and licensed realtor suggested he use that knowledge, passion and experience to start his own home inspection business. After going above and beyond the required training to become a home inspector, as well as going on to gain his Master’s Degree in Engineering, JCH Home Inspection Service was born.

Early on, when New Jersey mandated home inspectors be licensed, Jim was asked to teach home inspection courses at Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School in East Brunswick. He taught that course for the first 7 years after licensing, and is still mentoring home inspectors in the field and in classes.

Combining his experience and expertise in building homes, engineering and his over 34 years home inspection experience, Jim brings exceptional insight and know-how into the workings and structure of a home. This proficiency gives him and his team the knowledge necessary to identify potential or current defects visible during a home inspection that other home inspectors may miss.

Besides Jim, with his Masters in Engineering and construction and home inspection expertise, JCH Home Inspection Service’s other primary inspector is Anthony, who has years of architectural and home inspection experience as well as holding an advanced degree in Architecture. Rich and Wallace are also part of the team with strong home inspection knowledge, experience and expertise.

Every assessment given by our team of licensed professionals is in-depth and thorough. We give every element, from the roof to the basement, a quality assessment. We go above and beyond the standards to make sure that your home has had a complete inspection.
